Jolene L. Skinner, Ph.D., is the Director of Corporate Culture at Bridgestone Americas in Nashville, Tennessee. Her role was created to ensure that Bridgestone is a Premier Place to Work for all teammates. Her main responsibilities include defining, tracking and measuring success for what it means to become a premier place to work. Specific activities include an annual teammate survey process, pulse checks on cultural health, leadership competencies and governing premier place to work ideas that are submitted in Bridgestone’s Innovation Gateway.
Before joining Bridgestone last fall, Jolene worked as a Senior Consultant in Towers Watson’s Organization Surveys and Insights practice. She has also worked for Dell across a variety of HR roles including employee engagement, talent management, organization development, and mergers and acquisitions.
Jolene has vast expertise in culture and engagement initiatives, specializing in measuring culture and engagement and driving enterprise-wide change. She also has passion and expertise in developing women leaders and creating work life effectiveness. Jolene has a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Northern Illinois University and is SPHR certified.
