Katherine Neverdousky

Vice President, Human Resources and Corporate Learning & Development, American Heart Association

Katherine Neverdousky is the VP of HR & Corporate Learning of the award-winning American Heart University for the American Heart Association.  In her role, Katherine oversees the attraction of staff, building leadership and employee capabilities as well as improving the retention of staff by making AHA one of the “best places to work”.  She works closely with the Association’s senior leaders and the HR Leadership Team to drive the association’s strategy and align the development of employees with the business goals of the AHA. Katherine brings over 20 years of progressive HR leadership and training experience in several global organizations.   Prior to joining AHA, Katherine was the Sr. HR Director for Fossil in which she had responsibility for multiple HR functions for the global retailer.    Katherine earned her graduate degree from Arizona State University and holds several certifications in human resources.The American Heart University was been consistently recognized as part of the Top 100 Learning Organizations in the public sector by Elearning Media Group, specifically #1 in 2012 and #3 in 2013.  AHA was named a 2013 LearningElite organization by Chief Learning Officer Magazines.  Additional recognitions include the Innovations in Learning Award for “Corporate Learning Program of the Year” by SkillSoft.  For successful marketing of its corporate learning, the AHU has received several medals by the Healthcare Marketing Report. Lastly, the American Heart Association has been consistently named a “Best Nonprofit to Work For” since 2009 by The Nonprofit Times.
