Lisa Gold manages the Career Services function for the MITRE Corporation. In this role, she provides thought leadership, career coaching, new program development, and training across the organization. She leads organizational change efforts focused on creating a growth-based culture. Lisa manages the Career Insight program, leading a team of seven coaches who offer one-on-one, confidential career assessment and coaching services to all employees. She designs and delivers workshops that help teams learn how to draw on strengths to increase their impact and team performance.
Last year, Lisa led an enterprise team that designed MITRE’s innovative approach to performance management, “MITRE CLEAR Conversations™”. Lisa is currently part of a small team creating an integrated approach to Technical Career Paths. Before creating MITRE’s Career Services function, she served as a Lead Human Resources Business Partner for organizations within MITRE’s National Security Engineering Center. Lisa has been with MITRE for 14 years.
Prior to joining MITRE in 2002, Lisa held leadership roles in human resources with high-tech, HR consulting, and financial services organizations. Lisa is a trusted adviser to executive leadership and is recognized for her ability to create innovative functions and programs that improve employee engagement and organizational effectiveness while enhancing business performance.
Lisa is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and is recognized as both an ICF Associate Certified Coach and a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Emory University.
