Nate Prosser

Manager of Learning and Development, Vanguard

Nate Prosser is a Vanguard University manager leading a team of instructional designers and multimedia developers. Additionally, Nate leads the Vanguard Gives Back program My Classroom Economy, which includes over 50 active Vanguard volunteers and has helped nearly 500,000 K-12 students develop financially responsible habits.  The program teaches life lessons, like delaying gratification, which will benefit students throughout their lives  

Prior to joining Vanguard in 2010, Nate began his professional career as a secondary mathematics teacher in Maryland and Pennsylvania.  During his 5 years at Vanguard, he’s held several different roles, all within HR, and all with the focus of developing others.  Nate is passionate about supporting others, both now and in the future, to reach their professional potential.

Nate holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a master’s degree in instructional systems from The Pennsylvania State University.  He is a passionate sports fan that also loves spending time with his wife Kaitlin and young daughters Lily and Avery.
