Stacey Norman

Human Resources Lead, Workforce Practices and Central Advisory , Cenovus Energy Inc.

Stacey Norman is currently HR Lead, Workforce Practices & Central Advisory at Cenovus Energy Inc. In this role Stacey is responsible for the human resources specialist areas of strategic workforce planning and reporting, talent acquisition, and human resources policies and practices. In addition, Stacey leads a team of senior HR professionals charged with providing strategic HR consulting and support to Cenovus’s corporate groups. 
Prior to joining Cenovus, Stacey held a variety of human resources positions over 16 years with Amoco Canada Petroleum and BP Canada Energy. Her experience spans across HR generalist positions and specialist areas such as total rewards management (including compensation, benefits and pension), learning & development, performance management, succession planning, recruitment, human resources policy, and mergers & acquisitions. Her HR generalist experience includes working with shared services and corporate-wide functions, as well as business/line groups. 
Stacey holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan and she has earned the Certified Human Resources Professional designation from the Human Resources Institute of Alberta and the Certified Compensation Professional designation from World at Work.
Stacey lives in Calgary, Alberta, in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains, with her husband and two children, ages 8 and 6. In her "spare" time she enjoys spending time with family, watching movies, golfing, traveling, and reading.
