Valerie Egan is Talent Acquisition Strategist for The Girl Scouts. In this role she is responsible for the Talent Acquisition Function for GSUSA. She provides day to day oversight to the team as well as provides strategic direction to identify process improvements and enhance candidate experience.
Before joining GSUSA, Valerie was Head of Resourcing, North America for Linde, formerly BOC, a leading gases and engineering company. In this role, she managed the staffing function as well as provides oversight to an outsourced vendor for 7 years.
Prior to Linde, Valerie Egan was AVP, Employment Operations with Aon Human Capital Services. In this capacity, she supported AT&T for 7 years and specialized in management recruitment, college/university relations and non management staffing. Prior to joining AT&T, Valerie worked for Merrill Lynch in New York City for 18 years in various human resources capacities, primarily specializing in technology recruitment, college recruiting and employee relations. She holds a B.S. in Marketing Management from St. Peter's College and a Masters of Business Administration from Pace University.
Valerie has been a member of the Morris County New Jersey Chapter of SHRM for the past 13 years where she has held various leadership positions including Vice-President of Programming and President. She is also very involved with HRO Today Services and Technology Association where she serves on the North American Board.
