Do you have the right employment deal to attract, retain and engage the critical talent you need to deliver sustainable results?
In 2014, Towers Watson set out to explore the latest issues shaping the employment deal. Through two complementary global research initiatives — the 2014 Global Workforce Study (GWS) of over 32,000 employees, and the 2014 Global Talent Management & Rewards Study (TM&R) of 1,637 organizations — we discovered employee and employer perspectives, and important disconnects between them, on the driving factors of attraction, retention and sustainable engagement.
What did we find?
Nearly two in three employer respondents are experiencing problems attracting top performers and high-potential employees – an increase from two years ago.
Additionally more than half report difficulty retaining high-potential employees and top performers.
So what does it take to get and keep talent now? The fundamentals – base pay, job security and career advancement opportunities – matter most to employees globally when deciding to join or leave an organization. Yet, employers don’t always understand the rewards and talent management programs that workers value most. In this webcast, Towers Watson speakers will discuss the value of differentiating the employment deal and share best practice solutions that organizations can leverage to succeed with attracting, retaining and engaging a productive workforce.
