Daryl is Vice President of AOL's Global Talent Acquisition team. In his role Daryl leads executive recruiting, global staffing strategy, executive succession planning, new hire onboarding and integration, and operations for AOL's contingent workforce.
In the past 4 years Daryl has faced every challenge imaginable in supporting a significant company strategic and cultural turnaround. Daryl has led the redesign of AOL’s recruiting processes from the ground up, resulting in significant increases in hire quality, candidate end-to-end experience and employee engagement. Innovative initiatives like AOL’s eMobility (employee recruitment), Talent Community (external networking) and Cultural Ambassador Program (cultural assessment) have helped differentiate how AOL attracts and evaluates talent. Now positioned for growth, these changes directly align with AOL’s mission to become the first branded media and technology company.
Daryl has 15 years experience in staffing and process management and recently celebrated his 10 year anniversary with AOL. Previously Daryl worked for a staffing solution provider.
Daryl holds a B.A. in English from James Madison University in Virginia. He is the recipient of the 2011Dr. J.P. London Award for Ethics. He splits time between AOL’s Virginia and New York offices.
