Johan Jacobs is a global executive and senior manager in Human Resource Management, with extensive experience in media & technology, mining, consulting services and the public sector. His role as Director, Learning & Engagement at Bell Canada saw him responsible for all aspects related to employee career management, as well as spearheading the company’s focus on Employee Engagement.
Previously as Director, Organisation Development for Goldcorp Inc., Johan gained a reputation as a thought leader in Talent Management. His primary responsibilities were the development and implementation of a full suite of leadership development programs, a Succession Management approach and process, as well as a standard and leading-edge Performance Management process and system.
Prior to joining Goldcorp, Johan developed his specialised knowledge working as a consultant for Deloitte. He enjoyed a lengthy consulting career, working in South Africa, across Europe and in Canada, focusing on change management, training and human capital management.
