Tammy has prepared for her current role since college, where she pursued an accounting degree to build the strong technical and business foundation she knew would be necessary to excel as a human resources leader. Tammy has worked in the public accounting arena for her entire career: first as an auditor for a large multinational firm, then transitioning into recruiting and ultimately into HR leadership. Throughout her career, she has invested in her communication, negotiation, and leadership skills through continuous learning, mentoring, and active involvement in community service. She has advanced by taking well-timed risks and aligning her work with her interests. “We perform at our peak when we work in an area that challenges and interests us,” she says.
