Employee engagement has been linked to critical organizational outcomes like task performance, increased profitability and productivity, organizational commitment, and increased employee well-being. Despite evidence supporting the practical use and competitive advantage gained through engagement, many organizations still lack active and effective engagement survey programs. A 2017 report by Deloitte noted that 14% of organizations never survey employees about engagement, and many of those that do are unhappy with their results.
