In March 2021, Sheela Krothapalli joined Forward as its Head of People. Forward is an innovative primary care company that empowers top doctors with advanced technology, reaching more people with better, long term care. Sheela and her team are responsible for creating an environment where employees can do their best work in service of Forward’s mission through innovative and creative people strategies. She oversees talent acquisition, engagement and development, total rewards, operations and compliance. Previously Sheela served as Chief People Officer at Verily Life Sciences where she partnered closely with the executive team to help build and scale the company while leading it through transformational change. Before Verily, she held a variety of people management roles at Google for close to a decade. Sheela studied at Cornell University, The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the University of Southern California.
