Dr. Burdis is passionate about helping people develop and use their language skills to unlock better opportunities. He has dedicated his education, career, and volunteer service to using technology to make learning more effective and accessible. Having lived in Russia and Kazakhstan as a volunteer and tutor, Dr. Burdis saw firsthand the effect that bilingualism can have for individuals around the world. Jacob cofounded Emmersion with a goal to leverage AI technology to open the door for bilingual applicants around the world.
