Felicia Sanders currently serves as the Chief Human Resources Officer for Michelin North America, Inc. In this role, Sanders is responsible for all employee-facing functions of Michelin North America, Inc., including recruiting, developing and retaining top talent.

Sanders has served since 2018 as plant manager of Michelin’s passenger car tire manufacturing facility in Dothan, Alabama. From 2015 to 2018, she managed operations for Michelin’s passenger car tire manufacturing facility and operational support facility in Greenville, South Carolina. Sanders began her career in the chemical industry as an engineer, and over the past 25 years, has held in roles in manufacturing management, supply chain, business development and marketing.
Earlier in her career, Sanders worked for International Paper and FMC Corporation. She holds a degree in chemical engineering from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and a master’s degree in business administration from Columbia Business School. Sanders holds a certificate in Advanced Human Resources from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. 

Sanders serves as a mentor to young professionals and has been an active member of several organizations, including the Michelin African American Network, United Way African American Leadership Group, Society of Women Engineers and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Having been a trailblazer most of her career, she is passionate about women in leadership, the development of their networking skills and personal branding. Sanders was a semi-professional dancer during her youth until college and teaches liturgical dance. While dance is her hobby, she is a die-hard sports fanatic.  

Sanders is married to Dr. Dale L Sanders and has one daughter, Karrington. The family enjoys international travel, collegiate and professional sports, community service and watching performing arts such as Alvin Ailey, American Ballet Theatre and Dance Theatre of Harlem.
