As a lecturer at the Stanford University Graduate School of Engineering within the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design (or d.school) and a Director of New Sector Alliance, Tessa works at the intersection of design, research, and technology to shape an inclusive future of work.

Prior to Stanford, Tessa worked at IDEO CoLab and Accenture’s Strategy Insight and Innovation team. Both of these roles focused on the future of work landscape and the opportunity for technology and innovation to help us make it more inclusive. While at Accenture, Tessa led flagship thought leadership research into the skills needed for the future and the role of technology in workforce development initiatives supporting non-traditional talent pipelines. Through these projects and others, Tessa had the opportunity to collaborate and design with a broad cross-section of organizations working to shape the future of work including the World Economic Forum, LinkedIn Economic Graph, the World Bank, Walmart, Starbucks, the Australian Government and more.
