Steve is always excited to share his thoughts and ideas on upskilling and reskilling within his own organization and the results from the HCI study. Steve is a Fellow with the Learning and Professional Institute and has a MPA from University at Albany; Rockefeller College of Policy and Public Affairs. He prides himself in developing innovative and results oriented training and talent management programs and is prepared to share experiences in preparing the next generation of learners. Presently, Steve works with Maximus and leads an interdisciplinary learning and development team providing innovative content development and training to over 3,000 employees, over 4,000 NYS licensed health insurance brokers, and several thousand health benefits assistors and local Medicaid caseworkers in the implementation of New York state’s public health benefits exchange. Steve has had the honor to work with multiple organizations in developing and recharging large scale corporate learning and development organizations for nonprofit and for-profit companies. Aligning professional skill development programs in the fields of health care, insurance, and child welfare education by successfully using technical and performance-based training to achieve corporate strategic outcomes. Steve keeps his creative juices flowing as a master gardener, dad of three amazing young adults, and honing his culinary skills at home.
