Craig Leen, former Director of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) at the U.S. Department of Labor, who joined Circa’s Board of Directors in January of this year. Craig is also a partner at K&L Gates in Washington DC in the Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety Practice Group.

As the OFCCP Director, Mr. Leen led the federal agency responsible for administering and enforcing the equal employment opportunity regulations to ensure that those who conduct business with the federal government (federal contractors and subcontractors) comply with their affirmative action and nondiscrimination obligations. Under his leadership, the agency achieved record enforcement recoveries in FY 2019 and FY 2020 for victims of employment discrimination, and advanced directives and rulemaking that promoted transparency, certainty, efficiency, and recognition, which has significantly changed the agency’s approach to enforcement and substantially improved its relationship with contractors.

Besides his stellar credentials, Craig is also an outspoken advocate for individuals with disabilities, autism at work, and neurodiversity in the workplace, this is something that he is very passionate about and uniquely qualified to speak on.
