Her passion for Cardio Diagnostics is deeply personal and stems from two-generations of heart disease in her own family. She understands the pain points and founded Cardio Diagnostics to help prevent others from experiencing its devastating impacts. Dr. Dogan work had been featured in highly cited publications, and platform presentations at the American Heart Association and American Society of Human Genetics. She is an inventor of seven granted patents and has several pending patents worldwide for the technology behind Cardio Diagnostics.

In 2017, Dr. Dogan founded Cardio Diagnostics to commercialize this technology through a series of clinical tests and data intelligence solutions towards making heart disease prevention and earlier detection more accessible, personalized and precise. Under her leadership, Cardio Diagnostics has been recognized for its excellence and innovation with awards such as the prestigious One To Watch award in 2020 by Nature and Merck, the 2021 Clinical Diagnostics Solution of the Year from Biotech Breakthrough and Fast Company's Next Big Things in Tech 2022. She has also forged key relationships with world renowned healthcare organizations and key opinion leaders. Dr. Dogan holds a PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering and BSE/MS degrees in Chemical Engineering from University of Iowa. She was named FLIK Woman Entrepreneur to Watch in 2021.
