Kameka Dempsey, Founder & CEO of KD Leadership Strategies is a highly sought expert on the intersection of business, people and DEI strategy in the workplace. She advises C-level Executives, diverse leaders and their teams in Fortune 500 firms and startups. Her clients include major financial services firms, law firms, tech firms, media companies and more. As a speaker, she provides insight and expertise on topics of leadership, management, diversity, equity, inclusion, unconscious bias and belonging at a variety of industry-specific events and major universities like Yale, Harvard, and NYU. Kameka held a variety of talent and diversity roles at Duke Corporate Education, Goldman Sachs and BlackRock prior to starting her firm.

 

Kameka is a 2012 Women’s Leadership Fellow of the Impact Center’s Women’s Leadership Institute. Kameka holds a Bachelor’s degree from Yale University and Masters of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is a graduate of the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching Training Program, accredited by the International Coach Federation. She is a board member of the Phelps Association. She lives between New York City and rural North Carolina
