1:45pm-2:20pm EDT Beyond Coffee Mugs and Posters - Communicating and Reinforcing Organizational Values

General Session

You put posters up on the walls and gave everyone a coffee mug that touts your new company values and beliefs.  So why aren’t people behaving in the ways you expected? Why haven’t company results improved?

It’s likely because your posters, coffee mugs, and super-cool (and expensive) training programs aren’t sufficient to influence individual behavior.

In our session, using behavioral science as our backdrop, we will identify the factors that truly affect changes in behavior. We’ll also hear practical examples of how organizational values were shifted because of a focus on real behavior influencers vs the usual checklist of tactics for change.

In this session, you will learn:

  • How behavioral science can be applied to your organizational goals
  • To identify the six behavior influences and how they can translate into real change in your organization
  • Tips for consulting with leaders to help guide them toward tapping into new ways to influence the organization toward results
