2:15pm-2:50pm Using Today’s TA Tech

General Session

The world of recruitment today is the proverbial unfilled glass question. Is it half empty? Or half full? This presentation opts for the rosier outlook of the latter. While the recruiter's job is arguably as difficult as it has ever been, it is also at an inflection point. The ability to bring in the right talent, that have the right skills but also the right cultural fit is one of the most pressing issues for any business in 2021 and for the future as far out as we can see. Doing so requires talent acquisition teams that are more strategic than their predecessors and that use their time in different ways. Rather than managing an administrative process of recruiting tasks, they are turning much of that administration over to technology and using the time for the more difficult but also higher value work of building and nurturing relationships.

In this presentation, we will look examples of how some talent acquisition technology tools are enabling recruiters to answer key questions such as: What do our current employees really like and dislike about their jobs and how are their realities different than what they expected? How can I use the time after a candidate has accepted an offer but before they begin to make sure that they are going to be successful and happy in their first 90 days? What is the best way to partner with hiring managers to make sure hires can connect with the team members that will ensure their success? Today's technology answering tomorrow's questions.
