Talent Development Manager,
Lorelei Windeler serves as the Manger of Talent Development at Southwest Airlines in the People Department. She and her Team focus on talent management practices for Employees in the Southwest family. Her Team continues to evolve performance management, succession planning, talent reviews, calibration and a coaching culture for Southwest Airlines with an emphasis on being an enabler to the business.
Lorelei has been in HR and Talent Development for more than 20 years, but began her journey at Southwest Airlines in the operation as a Customer Service Agent in 1993. Within Southwest Airlines, she has held positions as a Customer Service Trainer, Manager over Leadership Development and a Manager Human Resource Business Partners supporting executive leaders. Before Southwest, she spent time in Preschool Education, leading Early Childhood Development Centers in Austin Texas. Lorelei graduated with a Liberal Arts degree from Concordia Lutheran University and a MBA from Texas Woman’s University. When she’s not focused on strategic plans for talent development, she’s planning her next international trip, or spending quality time with her husband, three grown children, and large extended family.
